Firefighters near Los Angeles International Airport Sunday put out a small electrical fire in the basement of the Crown Plaza Hotel, which caused power outages and smoke on several floors.

Firefighters dispatched at 5:53 a.m. to the 14-story high rise at 5985 W. Century Blvd. had the fire out within 48 minutes, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

No injuries were reported, Stewart said.
