A professor at Grace Mission University in Fullerton has been arrested on suspicion of acts of indecent exposure in Cerritos and Artesia, authorities said Wednesday.

Two Separate Indecent Exposure Incidents

Dong-Hyun Huh, 46, of Norwalk was arrested on Tuesday and booked on suspicion of indecent exposure, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported. He was released on $30,000 bail.

Huh teaches anthropology at the university.

Both incidents allegedly occurred on Sept. 15, 2017, according to the sheriff’s department.

Called Woman To Car, Exposed Himself To Her

About 4 p.m. that day, a 34-year-old woman was walking near Marquardt Avenue and Ashworth Street in Cerritos, “when she saw a white sport utility vehicle pull in front of her,” a sheriff’s statement said.

“The suspect called the victim to his vehicle and exposed his genitals to her,” the statement said. “The victim walked away from the suspect’s vehicle and notified law enforcement.”

“The Driver Had His Genitals Exposed”

A second, similar incident occurred a short time afterward near Gridley Road and Artesia Boulevard, the sheriff’s department reported.

“The 19-year old female victim was called over to a sport utility vehicle and the driver had his genitals exposed while he masturbated,” the sheriff’s statement said. “The victim was able to flee the scene and notified Lakewood Sheriff’s Station.”
