A 22-year-old USC grad student who went missing last weekend has been found, authorities said Friday.
Bo John Jones was last seen leaving his apartment near the 1100 block of 6th Street in Los Angeles about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, and the Los Angeles Police Department sought public help to find him.
Late Friday morning, the LAPD reported that Jones had been found and he was “in a local hospital,” LAPD Officer Tony Im said.
Im declined to elaborate.
When Jones left his apartment, he had only been carrying his cell phone, which was located Thursday near the MacArthur Park playground, less than two miles from his apartment, ABC7 reported.
His father, James Jones, told the station he used the Find My iPhone app to locate his son’s phone, which was at a cell phone store where someone was trying to “crack it.” He retrieved the phone from a woman who said she found it in MacArthur Park.
