A water main break in the Hollywood Hills Sunday was one of three requiring repair by Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews, authorities said.
Gushing water at 3 a.m. in the 2300 block of North Cahuenga Boulevard was caused by a break in an eight-inch main, LADWP spokeswoman Carol Tucker said. Crews have shut off the water and begun repairs.
At least five customers are without water service, the Department of Water and Power reported.
Another water main break was reported at 3:20 a.m. in the 2400 block of South Cloverdale Avenue in the Mid-City area, she said. Ten to 15 customers were affected by this break.
The third break was reported at 5:40 a.m. in the 5600 block of Fernwood Avenue in Hollywood, Tucker said. Crews were en route to begin repairs.
