Authorities today identified a passenger who was killed in a Westwood crash as a 20-year-old Fontana man.

Luis Flores-Nieto died at the scene of the collision at 10300 Wilshire
Blvd., which occurred at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday. He was riding in a speeding
Chevrolet Camaro that slammed into a parked van, witnesses told Los Angeles
police.

The driver and another passenger were taken to a hospital for treatment
of serious injuries.

The crash shut down a stretch of Wilshire Boulevard from Comstock Avenue
to Beverly Glen Boulevard for about six hours.
