NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - Los Angeles police today were investigating the theft clothing worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and belonging to actress Demi Moore from a North Hollywood storage unit.
The items were discovered missing Monday from a storage unit that hadn’t been checked in about six months, said Los Angeles police Detective Joe Rios.
A preliminary tally indicated the stolen items were worth about $200,000, but Moore’s people are still doing an inventory to determine what’s missing, Rios said.
“It could be a lot more once they do the math and add up all the stuff,” he said.
According to TMZ, whoever stole the items took the most high-end items, some of which are considered irreplaceable, and there was no sign of forced entry, leading to suspicion of an inside job.
