PALM SPRINGS (CNS) - Leonardo DiCaprio is making his Modernist estate in Palm Springs available to visitors — for $4,500 a night with a two-night minimum, it was reported today.
Set on 1.3 acres in the Old Las Palmas neighborhood, the renovated 1963 estate was once owned by Dinah Shore, who died in 1994. DiCaprio bought the property last year for $5.23 million, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The 7,022-square-foot showplace has floor-to-ceiling glass walls, wooden ceilings, a massive stone fireplace and a sunken bar in the living room, according to The Times. Including staff quarters, there are six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms. The property also features a swimming pool and a tennis court.
DiCaprio, 40, was nominated for Academy Awards for his work in “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape” (1994), “The Aviator” (2005), “Blood Diamond” (2006) and “The Wolf of Wall Street” (2013)
